Lynn (Young) Roberson

Joanna Lynn Roberson, 48, of Algoa, Texas passed away April 22, 2024. She was born on February 1, 1976, in La Marque, Texas to Donald and Dixie Young. Joanna was a loving wife, mother and daughter. Lynn and Jeff enjoyed many years of traveling, fishing, and playing pool together. She loved being a housewife, spending time with her family and cooking. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Alvin and a standing member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3789. Lynn was a past Madam President and currently Junior Past Madam President. She was also holding a position of District II Inside Guard.  She was a dual member of Fraternal Order of Eagles in La Porte and Bacliff.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jeffrey Roberson; parents, mother, Dixie Young; son, Jacob Roberson; mother- in- law, Pamela Wood; father- in- law, Edward Roberson (Jeanie); brother- in- law’s, James Roberson (Melissa), Bobby Christler; grandparents, Vernon and Lanelle Chapman along with numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Joanna is preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Louyisa Young; father, Donald Young; grandparents, Dick and Dorothy Williams, grandparents, Jim and Annette Roberson; grandmother, Ruby Peter and Bear, her beloved fur baby
